Two teams will square off for the NSU18MHL Championship, and a spot in the 2022 Atlantic Championship.

The Halifax McDonalds and Cape Breton West Islanders have advanced to the final series, which kicks off Saturday, April 9th at 6:30pm at the Halifax Forum.

The Macs, the top team from the regular season, have dropped just one game so far in the playoffs. Halifax won their quarter final 3 games to 1 over the South Shore Mustangs, then swept the Pictou County Weeks Majors 3 games to none in their semi final series.

The Islanders have done things the hard way, going the distance in both the quarter finals and semi finals. Cape Breton West downed the Valley Wildcats 3-2 in the opening round, then won 3-2 over the Cole Harbour Wolfpack in the semi-finals.

Game one of the Provincial Championship series will be carried live on Eastlink Community TV. Game two follows on Sunday, April 10th.
