Hockey NL Announces Gander as Host for 2025 Under-13 Female Atlantic Championships

Grand Falls Windsor—Hockey NL is thrilled to announce that the 2025 Under-13 Female Atlantic Championships will be held in Gander, NL, from April 10 to 13, 2025. This prestigious event celebrates the pinnacle of U13 female hockey in the Atlantic region, showcasing exceptional talent from across Eastern Canada. The tournament will unite teams representing Hockey NL, Hockey Nova Scotia, Hockey Prince Edward Island, and Hockey New Brunswick. This competition promises to highlight the incredible skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship of the best U13 female players in the
region. The host team is the Central Ice Pak.

“We are excited to host this high-caliber event in Gander,” said Tracey Hatcher, Chair of Female Hockey for Hockey NL. “This is just the third year for Atlantic event for this age group and the first hosted in NL. With the growth of girl’s hockey in the province, this is another event to celebrate the game and showcase the opportunities young players have in our branch. We look forward to providing an unforgettable experience for players, families, and fans alike and thank the host committee in Gander for spearheading the tournament.” The 2025 Under-13 Female Atlantic Championships will provide thrilling matchups and
unforgettable moments as teams vie for Atlantic glory. Fans and supporters are encouraged to mark their calendars for this can’t-miss event and come together to celebrate the future stars of female hockey.
